Post Hole Digging

May 2, 2018 By Bruce Gleason Leave a Comment

The best tool ever.

For anyone that has had to hand dig a post hole it is both back breaking and tedious. However, once my little eye spied this beauty in the Harbour Freight catalog I knew it would be a winner. A one man auger that can go down 3 feet and with a small price tag to boot. Yippee! The reason this tool had to be mine, I was facing 12-16 post holes that needed to be dug for a fence to keep the critters out of the vegetable garden.

Even if it only lasted this one job it would be worth it.

End result was that those 12 post holes took me about 15 minutes to make instead of the afternoon that it would have taken me with the handheld version. Best tool ever!

I now use it to make post holes but also to make holes for planting large bushes and trees and anything else that I need to make short work of digging. Since we purchased the one man auger I have used it on dozens or projects and it has never let me down yet. Did I mention that it is the best tool ever?
