If you haven’t been paying attention which is hard to believe… the office will be closed from 4pm today with a return date of July 12. I’ve been super busy this week trying to tie up all my loose ends. Hopefully on the 12th, I’ll return refreshed and inspired to design more and more. I may post some blogs during next week. I did finish two new sites as of today, which if I get time, I’ll post while I’m relaxing in the garden. We got our supplies for mimosas last night and we’re all ready to toast in this vacation!
This week I’ve also been busy updating the new portfolio app on my site. Not all the projects are up yet. I decided to use carbonmade for awhile. It’s simple to post new projects up and keeps things neat and clean. I’ve been too busy to keep everything updated in there and am hoping this new system will keeps things all aligned. Vacation times for indie designer means that she will be updating that portfolio on her vacation. No worries though it’s not work when I’m in the garden and relaxing with my mimosas.
Great service but in January we cancelled it and switched to a content management system.
Other then that you may see me out and about. Have a great week but you know you’ll hear from me… you can’t tear a laptop away from the computer girl!
We’ve been saving some new antique stores to try out. Plus, Salamanca Antique Mall has their July 4th Sale this weekend.
I’ll come to confession… Wednesday morning I snuck out for a few hours and went to the lecture of Alan Alda with my parents. I felt so naughty like I was skipping school! The lecture was so inspiring though. “Be brave and live creatively” was one of the mottos he talked about. Aye, Aye Mr. Alda doing what I can.
And if all else fails and I can’t relax… I’ll pack up yellow dog and the husband and hang out at my parents. July 4th we got big plans for a bean pot project (I’m sure this adventure will be a post in itself!), bocce, key lime pie, foot long hot dogs, swimming and everything in between. Who couldn’t relax here?
