In our brilliant wisdom, after we got back from vacation we decided to move the studio back to our house. We had decided to stay through August at 101 W Fifth. We then realized that labor day is super early this year. I didn’t want to move during labor day weekend. Hard labor on labor day seemed like the antithesis of what the holiday was about. Sooo we thought might as well get rolling after we’re all refreshed from our spa weekend. So here I am back where I started on the second floor. I did take over two rooms now in the second floor. I survived a full week up here so far.
My mom, in laws, niece and nephew helped us last weekend move everything. They deserve a big loud applause. I’m pretty sure when it’s time for the BIG move they’re going to be out of town. As my mom stated over 50 times we’re hiring this out when you move the house.
I’m a gypsy for a bit till we sell Prather and move on to our next big adventure (which I’m keeping a secret from you until everything is final- NO JINXIES). I will say that in WNY they’re saying snow in September and another polar vortex. SOOO moving in November or December, I may have to use dog sleds. SOOO anyone want to buy my house? Let’s make both our lives easier and do this now so we can move before the polar vortex makes us move with ice, snow and wind.
This is me getting in trouble… or Bruce in delirium from climbing the stairs
AP (Accident Prone) GYPSY
Sure did fall in a chipmunk hole carrying apothecary jars. I just want to point out that I did not break either glass jar but did twist the ankle a wee bit. And to the neighbor who slowed down real slow and did not stop to help. Hey, thanks! You’re swell. I’m ok! Hope you stopped laughing eventually.
Creative World in the old guest room/ exercise room.
Bruce’s office turned into the business center… shipping and accounting world across the hall.
And here’s command central for the time being until we move. I keep saying I’m going to save all that rent money for my new studio. Think of all that paint I can buy.
